Dear Editor
It’d be funny if it weren’t so sad. Over the last several months, I’ve unfortunately had reason to reach out to counsel us as a people, as citizens, Christians and human beings to realize that hate and fear do not bring wisdom and solutions. They only bring more hate, fear and delusion.
Amazingly, in response, I’ve found myself personally and virulently attacked.
What’s that about? It’s a strange time we’re living through
Christ would have us love and embrace one another, with the understanding that we are all alike, all eminently fallible, but all very much His children, worthy of His and all our love.
We are not wide-eyed, trembling toddlers hiding under our beds from some lie or conspiracy-conjured boogeyman.
Let us open our eyes, hearts, minds and souls and go out and do His work to save ourselves and His blessed creation.
Be. Not. Afraid.
