To the Editor:
It would be better for the citizens of Perry County to have more of a say about the future of the hospital and healthcare in our community. They have supported this hospital since the 1950s.
Instead, the hospital has hired a person, at a minimum of approximately $250,000, to negotiate a deal for them. This person knows nothing about our beautiful city and county. When the final decision is made, he will be on his way with our money. Sadly, Perry County will lose what the people of this community have built.
