Why is Congressman Jason Smith protecting Trump? Former American Ambassador to Ukraine, Marie L. Yovanovitch, said Ukraine had nothing to do with 2016 election interference. She said it was Russia.
She talked about Gordon Sondland’s role in Ukraine, how he had no oversight there.
Then there is David Holmes, a State Department aide, who worked at the U. S. Embassy in Kiev. He gave first hand testimony about overhearing Sondland telling the president in a July 26 phone call that Volodymyr Zelensky would do anything you asked him to do, that the Ukrainian leader committed to do the investigation.
Then there is Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman. He listened to the July 25 phone call about an investigation into Biden for the money. Former White House advisor Fiona Hill told the committee that she warned Sondland that his efforts in Ukraine on behalf of President Trump would “blow up.” Sondland said there was a quid pro quo.
Also, there is a Mick Mulvaney who said that there is quid pro quo. He said we do that all the time. Trump also asked China to investigate Biden.
Never in American history has a president done things like this! So why are Republicans in Congress turning a blind eye to this?
Also, Trump is turning America's back to the world. Last time that happened was the 1930s, which lead to the rise of Hitler. Today it’s Putin — the very same Putin that Trump always praises.
In the next election we need to vote these Republicans out of office. Including Donald John Trump!
