Joyce Lee Hennemann, 84, of Ste Genevieve died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021 at StoneBridge Senior Living in De Soto.
She was born Feb. 5, 1936 in Perryville.
She married James Hennemann on Jan, 14, 1956 in Perryville.
She is survived by her son, Bryan (Pam) Hennemann of Clermont, Fla.; two daughters, Cheryl Meyer of St. Louis, Cindy (Jeff) Boyes of Columbia; seven grandchildren, Justice Boyes, Kathryn Hall, Sarah Hennemann, Alyssa Hennemann, Jeffrey Meyer, Brianne McGrath and Meredith Meyer and two great grandchildren: Grayson McGrath and Fallon McGrath.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Hennemann; son, Jeffrey Hennemann; father, Randolph Boland; mother, Zella (Pittman) Boland; brother, Melivn Boland; sister, Dorothy Brown;
Memorials can be made to charity of choice
Joyce prided herself on graduating from high school two years early. Her friends used adjectives like spitfire, fireball, witty, sassy, and energetic to describe her wonderful personality. She had a passion for the fine arts while providing her family through the years with water colors and paintings from her extremely artistic side. Joyce was an avid antique collector and had a carnival glass collection that she was most proud of. Joyce enjoyed most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.
