Joan Ann Hotop, 87, of Perryville passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022 at Estates of Perryville.
She was born Dec. 22, 1934 in St. Louis to William and Martha (Justen) Morrissey.
Joan and Elwin E. Hotop were married May 3, 1958 in St. Louis.
She was a Homemaker.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Highland.
Joan was an amazing cook, known for her St. Patrick’s Day meals she loved to prepare annually.
Survivors include daughter, Tammy (Rick) Underwood; two grandchildren, James (Katelyn) Rice, Kristen Rice; dear friends, Bryon & Laura McClure and their two children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Martha “Jane” Morrissey, Margaret Morrisey; one brother, Robert Morrissey.
Visitation will be from 8-10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Highland.
Memorial Mass will follow at 10 a.m. with the Fr. Mark Pranaitis officiating.
Burial of cremains will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland.
