Jeanette L. Bohnert

Jeanette L Bohnert, 85, of Perryville passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Independence Care Center.
She was born Oct. 28, 1935 in Belique to Elmer J. and Lorene (Streiler) Evans.
She and Kent J. Bohnert were married Oct. 24, 1953. He preceded her in death Aug. 3, 2013.
She was a shoe assembler at International Shoe Company.
Jeanette was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and AmVets Auxiliary. She loved quilting, fishing, cooking and gardening.
Survivors include one daughter, Joann Gross of Ellis Grove, Ill.; two sons, Randy (Kimberly) Bohnert of Paducah, Kent. and Jerry (Marilyn) Bohnert of Perryville; three sisters, Shirley Mattingly of Brewer, Alice Garris of Crosstown and Deloris Routon of Ala.; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kent J. Bohnert; parents; one son-in-law, Michael Gross; one grandson, Andy Remillard; three brothers, Roy, Elmer and Robert Evans; and one sister, Rosdell Mitchell.
Visitation was Sunday, April 18, 2021 and on Monday, April 19 2021 at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Mass was Monday, April 19, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Joe Geders C.M. officiating.
Burial was at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
