James “Jimmy” Benjamin Abernathy, 59, of Perryville, died Saturday, June 25, 2022.
He was born December 23, 1962 in Inglewood, CA to Robert E Abernathy and Linda (Reinke) Abernathy.
He served in the Army.
James was a Forklift Operator at Gilster Mary Lee in Perryville.
He was a member of Perryville Country Club. James liked fishing, playing golf and watching Cardinal Baseball.
Survivors include Former Spouse, Pamela Abernathy of Perryville; Son, Matthew J Abernathy of Perryville; Step-Daughter, Danielle Martinez; Brother, Robert L Abernathy; Sisters, Cynthia M (Roberto) Brito, Joy L (Michael) Francis: Two grandchildren, Kolten Little, Malachi Martinez.
He was preceded in death by his Father; Infant Son, James J Abernathy.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
