Indians, Pirates make JCAA All-Conference team

The St. Vincent volleyball team won its district for the first time since 2015 and reached the Class 1 sectionals. While that will be remembered for a long time, there were also a pair of Lady Indians who were noticed by the Jefferson Athletic Association Small Schools Division Conference.
Kamille Graham made the second team, while Macy Lukefahr was named honorable mention.
Graham, a junior, collected 268 assists and another 207 digs on the season. She also had 148 kills.
Lukefahr was second on the team with 138 klls and had 62 digs on the season.

Pirates get three honors

Despite the sub-par year for the Perryville Lady Pirates volleyball team, they still managed to receive some postseason honors. The Pirates had a trio of players earn spots on the Jefferson County Athletic Association-Large School Division team.
Tegan Gerler was named to the first team after leading the Pirates with 218 kills and 68 total blocks on the season.
Rachel Riney was named to the second team after she led the team on the defensive end with 371 digs.
Megan Buchheit was named an honorable mention and was the main setter for the Pirates as she recorded 355 assists on the season.
