Glennon Wibbenmeyer, 85, of Perryville passed away at Independence Care Center Monday, Dec.20, 2021.
He was born Sept. 15, 1936 in Friedheim to Edmond and Clara (Renner) Wibbenmeyer
He and Dorothy (Gibbar) Wibbenmeyer were married Nov.12, 1960 at St. Mary of the Barrens Catholic Church.
He was a Maintenance Supervisor at Gilster Mary Lee.
Glennon served in the National Guard.
He was a member of St.Vincent de Paul Catholic Church,The Knights of Columbus Council #1263, Capaha Antique Car Club of Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include three daughters, Christina (Greg) Erwin of Friedheim, Cynthia (Scott) Liebenguth of Willard, Sara (Jared) Prost of Leavenworth, KS; two brothers, Eugene (Rita) Wibbenmeyer of St. Louis, Robert (Patty) Wibbenmeyer of Perryville; sister, Shirleen (Robert) King of Fenton; eight grandchildren, Ashley Schaeffer, Jeff Erwin, Virginia Erwin, Andy Liebenguth, Miley Liebenguth, Sam Liebenguth, Carter Prost and Gavin Prost; Great-Grandchildren Daniel and Dean Schaeffer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Keith Wibbenmeyer; granddaughter, Elly Liebenguth; sister, Marlene Haley.
Visitation will be from 7-9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021 at Ford and Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Fr. Ben Melaku C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School systems.
