East Missouri Action Agency, Inc., is accepting nominations to select a member of the EMAA governing board to represent the low-income residents of Perry County.
Any resident experiencing low income may pick up a nomination form from their local EMAA Outreach Office or contact the Central Office. Residents of Perry County experiencing low income who are qualified by conforming to established poverty guidelines may nominate any Perry County resident to represent the low-income population on the EMAA Board of Directors.
Nominations will be accepted from July 11 to Aug. 12, 2024.
The Perry County Outreach Office is at 25 S Jackson St. in Perryville, Mo. It can be reached by phone at 573-547-2014. The outreach office’s hours of operation are from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
The EMAA Central Office is at 403 Parkway Dr. in Park Hills, Mo. It can be reached by phone at 573-431-5191. The central office’s hours of operation are from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
This project/program is funded 100 percent at $4,750 with federal funds received from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) provided by the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division.
