Earl H. Berkbigler

Earl H. Berkbigler, 87, formerly of Biehle passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021 at Missouri Veteran’s Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 4, 1933 in Biehle, Missouri to Emmett and Anna (Baer) Berkbigler.
He and Mary Lou Triller were married June 14, 1958. She preceded him in death Jan. 20, 2020.
He served in the United States Army.
Earl was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle, AmVets Post #94 and American Legion Post #133
He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, spending time on the farm and being surrounded by his family and friends.
Survivors include one son, Bob (Jonnice) Berkbigler of Perryville; one sister, Shirley (David) Schrumpf of St. Louis; two grandchildren, Angie (Andy) Head and David (Megan) Berkbigler; and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Lou Berkbigler, and one son, Allen Berkbigler.

Masks are required.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, 2021 at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2021 at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle with the Rev. Patrick Christopher officiating.
Burial will be at St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery in Biehle. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #133 and Delta Honors Team.
Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer’s Association.
