Clovis M. French

Clovis M. French, 95 of Perryville, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021.
He was born Sept. 20, 1926 in Cedar Fork, Missouri to the late Arthur H. and Ellen M. (Heaps) French.
Clovis and Leona K. Rutherford were married Aug. 10, 1946. They were married 65 years before her passing, Dec. 14, 2011.
Clovis was a member of Whitewater Christian Church. He worked in construction and as a truck driver. He was a man of high integrity and was well respected in the community. Clovis was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a good friend to many.
Loving survivors include his children, Roger C. (Brenda) French of Perryville, Sheila (Gerry) Duvall of Perryville and Ron C. (Mimi) French of Wichita, Kansas; sisters, Ruby Cox and Judy Gromer, both of St. Louis; nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Leona; daughter, Patricia Cissell; brothers, Kenneth, Curtis and Herbert; sisters, Wanda and Leona.
Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. at Ford and Young Funeral Home as well as 8-9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be Friday, Oct. 8, 2021 at 11a.m. at Whitewater Christian Church with Pastor Ray White officiating. Visitation will also be from 10-11a.m. at the church Friday.
Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Whitewater Christian Church.
