Clinton R. Braeuner, 85, of Altenburg passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 at his residence.
He was born June 25, 1935 in Wittenburg to Alvin and Clara (Walther) Braeuner.
He and Myrtle H. Haertling were married Jan. 5, 1963 in New Wells. She survives in Altenburg.
Clinton loved carpentry. He served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked at East Perry Lumber Company for 44 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. His favorite hobby was building items out of wood for family, friends and charity. He built the house that he lived in and his final wish was to go to the Lord from his home. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg.
Survivors include Daughter, Sarah Walter of Perryville; son, David (Carla) Braeuner of Altenburg; four grandchildren Jeffrey (Brittany) Walter, Thomas Walter, Cody Braeuner and Garrett Braeuner, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, one brother, Raymond H. Braeuner; and one sister, Arlene Lohmann.
