Charles F. Myers age 97, of Ste. Genevieve passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at Riverview At The Park Care & Rehab Center.
He was born Oct. 3, 1923 in Marquand to Judea Napoleon Myers and Ada Mae Boyles. He and Elaine Beyer were married on May 24, 1952. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include one brother, Raymond (Marie) Myers of Perryville, one sister Wanda Bollinger of Ste Genevieve, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; four brothers, Norval Clark Myers, Thomas Edward Myers, Carl Myers, Rev. Luther Wayne Myers; and six sisters, Edna Armbruster, Irma Pauline Hoehn, Artie Myers, Ruth Myers, Melba Stroup, and Veda Scott.

Charles honorably served in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force attaining the rank of Sergeant. He was a Veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Charles was of the Lutheran faith, and retired from Civil Service Publications Distributions.
Charles will be missed by family & friends and all those who knew and loved him.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday May 12 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with Rev. Craig Reiter of Holy Cross Lutheran Church officiating. Military Funeral honors to follow graveside service. Keeping with Charles’ wishes there will be a cremation with no visitation.
