It is back to school month! The Chamber wishes all students and teachers a wonderful school year. As this year begins, the Chamber’s September Coffee & Connections focuses on each of our schools. They will give us an update on what is in store this school year. The event will take place Thursday, Sept. 9, at the Catalyst Center.
Leadership Perryville for August, Agriculture Day, took us on tours of Davis Farm Supplies, Perryville Pumpkin Farm/Golden Harvest Seeds/Brian Koenig Farms, Perry County Extension and the Voelker Dairy Farm. Agriculture has always been a huge part of Perry County. On a side note, the PC Extension office has a lot of information available to the community. They can help you with agricultural needs, health, cooking, gardening, youth/4-H and much more.
The Perryville Area Chamber of Commerce and Perry County Economic Development Authority’s appreciation golf tournament is quickly approaching. Thanks to our sponsors who help put this event on to give our members a fun day on the golf course. The fifth Xquisite Women’s Leadership Conference is Thursday and Friday, Sept. 16-17. We still have a few seats left. Check out the Facebook page for all the details or call the office.
