Chamber events set to resume next month

Posted

I hope everyone is staying warm. The Chamber is working on our 2021 schedule and events. Power Hours, Coffee and Connections, April membership meeting and Leadership Perryville, just to name a few. Please follow us on Facebook, Instagram (Perryville Chamber, Mayfest and Xquisite Women’s Conference) and our Tuesday weekly e-news. Also, see our website, perryvillemo.com, for upcoming events, a list of our Chamber Members, Job Board and our Chamber Board of Directors.
If you are not a chamber member yet, remember that we have avenues to promote, network and referrals. New members can get visibility through a ribbon cutting, member to member e-mails and sponsorships.
Our first Coffee and Connections of this year will be Thursday, March 11, from 7:45 to 9 a.m. at the Catalyst Center for Business. Our sponsors are Southeast Health and Juste Moi Yoga & Spa. Our speaker is Brent Buerck, City Administrator with an Educational Presentation regarding PROP C.O.P.S. Please join us.
A reminder to Perry County graduating seniors, if you are applying for the chamber’s scholarship, you still have one month to come in and volunteer to have those hours on your application. Please call the office to set up a time. If you are a junior and want to get a head start, you can also volunteer anytime to count towards a 2022 application.

Mayfest for 2021 is scheduled for Wednesday through Sunday, May 5-8. Our theme will stay “A Salute to our Hometown Heroes.” We are in the process of scheduling events, bands and the carnival. We appreciate all of our sponsors for this annual event. We could not do this without you and all of our volunteers. We are still in need of a few more sponsors, does your business want to participate? Please call the office and I can help you with the sponsorship that best fits your needs. Our community looks forward to Mayfest every year and we can’t wait to enjoy it with you.
Please mark your calendar for the fifth Xquisite Women’s Leadership Conference scheduled for September 16 and 17 to be held at the Robinson Event Center. We are excited about our lineup of speakers. Follow our Women’s Conference Facebook page for all the information. Registration and updates on this will be coming soon.
Need a map, phone book (yes we still have both) or information for fun in Perry County or a day trip to a surrounding area? We have the information for you in the office located on the square.
