Bill G. Bailey, 89, of Perryville passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021 at his residence.
He was born Feb. 11, 1931 in Imboden, AR to Joseph Eugene “JE” and Oma (Freeman) Bailey.
He was first married to Stella Massey on Dec. 7, 1958. She preceded him in death on Feb. 6, 2016. He then married Joan Dicus Wulfert on Nov. 26, 2019. She survives in Perryville.
Bill was Owner Operator of Perryville Stave Company. He was a US Airforce Korean War Veteran. He was a member of Whitewater Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Steve (Lisa) Bailey and Michael (Diana) Bailey all of Perryville; step-son, Michael (Beth) Yamnitz of Perryville; three grandchildren, Lauren (Joe) Palmer, Jill (Matthew) Rudolph and Grant Bailey; two great-grandchildren, Charlie Palmer and Owen Rudolph; five step grandchildren, Kyle (Jackie) Yamnitz, Andrew (Dani) Yamnitz, Amanda (Nick) Mezo, Darin (Kelly) Yamnitz and Katie Yamnitz, seven step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Stella Bailey.
Private Services will be held for the family.
Burial will be at Yount Community Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion and Delta Team.
Memorial contributions may be given to Whitewater Christian Church, Yount Community Cemetery or Crown Hospice.
