Alida A. Evans, 86, of Frohna passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 at Holiday Residential Care in Perryville.
She was born April 10, 1935 in New Wells to Theo and Olga (Koch) Heartling.
She and Norman Evans were married Oct. 3, 1959 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, New Wells Missouri. He preceded her in death Sept. 4, 2006.
Alida was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg. She loved spending time with her family, gardening and baking.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda (Duaine) Steffens of Jackson; one brother, Ruben Heartling of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Lorna (Kenneth) Steffens of Frohna; two granddaughters, Erin (Trae) Smith and Emma (Jamie) Schumacher; and three great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Evans, parents, four brothers, Elton, Harlan, Clinton and Wayne Heartling; one sister, Lorene Mayfield.
