Alice L. Bachmann, 84, of Perryville passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at her home.
She was born February 7, 1939 in Farrar to Theodore and Lydia Mangels.
She and Oliver G. Bachmann were married at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar on June 7, 1958.
Alice was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown. She worked as a teller at First State Community Bank for 12 years, she was a member of Zion Lutheran Ladies Aid, LWML, American Legion Post #133 Auxiliary, Perry County Farm Bureau Board, served on the Perry County Extension Council and as a 4-H leader.
Survivors include her husband; daughter, Teresa (Randy) Leible; two sons, Kevin (JoAnn) Bachmann, Neal (Mary) Bachmann; ten grandchildren, Jacob (Bethany) Bachmann, Andrew (Bridget) Bachmann, Michael (Brooke) Bachmann, Levi Bachmann, Lydia Bachmann, Rachel Bachmann, Samuel Bachmann, Amber (Terry) Enderle, Becky (Tony) Miesner and Wade Leible.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Alfred Mangels, Arnold Mangels, Walter Mangels, Reinhold Mangels; three sisters, Norma Verseman, Wilma Meinz, Ruth Verseman; and great-grandson, Beau Bachmann.
Visitation was Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville and continued Monday, March 27, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown.
Funeral Service was Monday, March 27, 2023 at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating.
Burial was at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Crosstown. Memorial contributions may be given to Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown and Orphan Grain Train.
