Don and Mary Alice (Statler) Blaylock of Jackson recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. The couple were married at Sedgewickville Methodist Church on June 5, 1954. Don is a retired minister of 40 years, while Mary Alice is a retired nurse. The couple has three children Sue (Mark) Lukefahr of Perryville; Paula (Eric) Nesibtt of Albuquerque, NM; and Wesley (Paula) Blaylock of Pevely. The couple has eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren (with a great-granddaughter due in September to make 16), and two great-great grandchildren, one born May 24, and one due on July 1.
